Diana Holdsworth

I write novels, poetry and short stories. Awards have included: Honourable Mention at International 3-Day Novel Contest, Avery Hopwood Award for Short Story at the University of Michigan. Member: The Author's Guild, The Mythopoeic Society and PEN America. My work has been translated into French, German, Spanish and Japanese.

I was most recently published in the literary journal, Badlands. My novels include Gold in the Stone and Shining Moment. Non-fiction includes Native American Women (published under Diana Steer) and First Nations, First Hand for which I served as one of the editors and contributed the Introduction.

Currently finishing fantasy: The Singer’s Dream, a tale of spiritual romance and earthly political intrigue that unfolds in a musical, magical Renaissance setting.
